Brief History
Hillview Acres Children’s Home began in 1929 as an orphanage in Ontario, CA. Today, it is a residential treatment center for severely abused and neglected children. Since its inception, Hillview has provided a safe haven for over 2,500 abused children, and today it remains on the cutting edge of residential group care.

Original Mission Statement
“The purposes to which it is formed are to receive care for, adopt, keep, train, educate, destitute, abandoned and orphaned children, and to find homes for and place in Christian homes children committed to this association, and to act for and on behalf of orphaned, dependent children, destitute and neglected children, and to care for and provide for said children aforesaid in any and all ways that may be necessary for the proper care and education of orphaned children, and neglected and dependent children, and generally to do any and all things necessary or proper to accomplish and carry out the above purposes including to borrow money and own real estate.” – June 10, 1929

Hillview Acres Children’s Home is a comprehensive 24-hour residential treatment center for some of the most abused children in Southern California. Children ages six through j01490182eighteen find refuge on Hillview’s 15-acre campus in Chino, CA.
