Here’s to Life Inner City in Denver – Two Homes Sold!

Here’s to Life Inner City in Denver, Colorado hosted its 6th Annual Event Wine Tasting on Saturday, March 27th, 2010 in the Adirondack Room at the Tivoli Center on the Auraria Campus in Denver. This event annually raises more than $10,000 to help Here’s Life Inner City continue to serve youth in many of Denver’s poorest neighborhoods.

Here’s Life Inner City is a faith-based non-profit organization offering training and resources to serve urban churches that reach out to “at-risk” inner city children, youth and young adults. Its mission is to “engage the body of Christ in urban youth ministry”. This year, Vacation Homes For Charity was able to help connect the charity with both a home in Belize and Panama. Summit Bank Foundation~ 5 Homes Generate 5 Figures in Donations

When most think of the Bay Area we reminisce about the beautiful views of the Bay from Nob Hill, the great restaurants throughout the city, the hills of Marin Country, the ferry to Sausalito. Yet, there are many children in the East Bay Area who need assistance concerning their educational pursuits and future success.

The mission of the Summit Bank Foundation is threefold:
1. To develop and promote financial literacy learning opportunities throughout the Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
2. To support general education endeavors throughout the East Bay.
3. To recognize and encourage corporate volunteerism and support of the nonprofit community.
VacationHomesforCharity.org was proud to be associated with the annual Red and White Ball fundraiser with proceeds dedicated to the financial literacy programs and the students in the East Bay community. To date the literacy programs have reached over 700,000 students in East Bay schools. Four (4) vacation homes were donated and auctioned off at the annual Red and White Ball Fundraiser generating “five figures” in donations. The donated vacation homes span the Western Hemisphere including;

PinkFest ~ Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, NYC

PinkFest is an annual benefit to raise awareness of breast cancer and other cancers facing women, and to secure funds to support them in the fight against this disease. All PinkFest.net proceeds are donated to Cancer and Careers. CaC is a non-profit organization that supports working women with cancer, during and after diagnosis and treatment.

One of the auction items is a 5-night stay in Belize, donated by Las Terrazas Resort.
