It was quite an event. three days of parties, fund-raising and Polo. Although Denver isn’t known as much for their love of Polo as they do their beloved Broncos, Denverites turned out for the 23 Annual event. Tuxedos and evening gowns on Friday night, families on Saturday and ladies dressed in derby hats looking pretty and sipping cocktails while the game played out. Those fortunate enough to attend, enjoyed great polo, great food and a great time. Those not, mark your calendars for next year…you don’t want to miss it.
Buffs 4 Life used their Ultimate Putt competition to raise $20,000+ towards supporting former CU Buffs. Vacation Homes for Charity, Akamul Villas & Encanto Resorts were proud to participate by allowing them to use a stay at Villa La Mission and El Faro Resort, both in Mexico. Thanks to the generous support of its contributors, Orange County nonprofit Miocean raised nearly $500,000 at its annual Blue 42 Celebration on June 11, 2010. The event, which is named for – and directly benefits – Orange County’s beautiful 42-mile coastline, also honored James A. Kelly, senior vice president of Southern California Edison, for his role in protecting the local watersheds.
