Resort linked to AIG excesses offers free meeting space to charities~ 
The St. Regis Monarch Beach in Orange County, Calif., which became a symbol of corporate excess when AIG held a lavish gathering there just after receiving a taxpayer bailout, has come up with an altruistic marketing campaign that should help improve its image. Known for his flamboyant style and skills to match, Tony Hawk’s name is well-known from skate-parks to urban sidewalks to suburban cul-de-sacs. What is not as well known is the Tony Hawk Foundation, a organization bringing skate parks to inner-city neighborhoods. VacationHomesforCharity.org (VH4C) was a proud participant at the 7th Annual Stand Up for Skate Parks fundraiser held in Beverly Hills on November 7th.
