Participating Charities

The Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Foundation of Washington was established in 1961 as a statewide nonprofit organization. Starting in 2007, the Foundation is now operating under a new banner to reflect its expanded mission and prevention efforts: The Northwest Infant Survival Alliance-SIDS Foundation of Washington (NISA-SIDS). NISA-SIDS is supported solely by memorials, public donations, special events, and grants. We focus our support and outreach efforts on Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

OUR MISSION
The Northwest Infant Survival Alliance-SIDS Foundation of Washington is dedicated to the informational and emotional support of bereaved families, to the education of the general public and professionals, and to the ultimate elimination of sudden infant death through research.
